What do the symbols on the calendar mean?

During this period the fussy phase of the leap could start. The fussy phase doesn’t necessarily last the entire period indicated by the yellow bar. Some babies go trough a short and intense fussy phase and for others, the fussy phase meanders along but is less intense.

Afbeelding met pijl Automatisch gegenereerde beschrijving Crying, Clinginess, and Crankiness (the three Cs) around 29 and 30 weeks are not telltale signs of another leap. Your baby has simply discovered that her mommy and daddy can walk away and leave her behind, and as a funny as it may sound, this is progress. It’s a new skill; your baby is learning about distance.
